How it plays

Each run puts your car on a straight road lined with gates. Every gate carries a sign that changes your number as you pass through it: some add, some subtract, some multiply and some divide. You can only steer left and right, so the only real decision is which gate to drive through next.

The number you finish with becomes coins. That makes the arithmetic the core of the game: a multiply gate early on is usually worth more than an add gate, and a divide gate late in the run can undo a lot of good choices.

Coins go into your garage. Poki's description mentions upgrades that make cars faster and better-looking, and the choice to sell a car for a quick profit or keep it for your collection. Supercars unlock as your numbers grow.

Runs are short, so the rhythm is simple: drive, collect, upgrade, drive again. Progress is easy to see, which makes it a comfortable game to dip into for a few minutes.

Five things to try early

  • Read two gates ahead, not one. Lining up for a multiply gate is only useful if you can still reach the next good gate after it.

  • Multiplying a small number achieves little. Add first, then multiply.

  • Treat divide and subtract gates as walls, especially near the end of a run.

  • Spend early coins on upgrades that help every run before chasing a single expensive car.

  • Selling a car gives quick coins, but keep the ones you still use while the next unlock is far off.

Who it suits, and what to weigh

It suits players who want something light and fast with clear progress, and children who are comfortable with simple sums. The steering is forgiving, so it works well on a phone.

The loop is repetitive by design; players who want variety may tire of it sooner.

—

Choosing gates at speed rewards quick mental arithmetic more than driving skill.
